Scenes of Sedona,
Arizona
By far, Sedona is one of the most mystical and magical places
I have ever been to. I'm sure that it is among the few places on
earth (I think there are something like 7 or so) that form a natural
vortex, a place where there is no direction. A compass will go nuts,
just spinning around crazily. These places are inducive to "feeling
the earth and her natural powers", and being a part of a great
celebration. I believe it is the earth through her natural magic
that rules the universe. If you have been to Sedona recently, please
let me know what it is like now. If you can, I would love to see
current photos of this very beautiful place here. *New*

| All of the shapes of the
rocks are natural and not man made. Bell Mountain, is the first
vortex encountered, as it dominates and watches over the valley.
It is awesome. This mountain is a natural crystal resource, to those
who find where they are hidden. Coffee Pot Rock was, at that time,
in jeopardy of having condos built around it. The construction was
being fought by the local residents, many of whom are American Indians.
I can only hope that Sedona was not left to the developers to destroy
with their "progress." |

| Many of the rock formations
that tower above the tiny town or that stand as sentinels around
it are unmistakeably phallic in shape, form, and in some cases,
detail! You can't miss them, either. They are the predominant formations
facing the town shopping center. At that time, it consisted of a
general store, restaurant and post office, I think. |

| Below is one of the "airport"
mesas. The surface is perfectly flat and is adorned with ancient
drawings, some of which have been shown on television shows, like
Mysteries, Myths and Magic. The church next to the mesa was actually
built entirely into the rock within the mountain itself. The only
part showing is what you see here, which is amazing because it seemed
like a pretty big structure. |
