2006: This has been a very brutal year. See my husband up there in the photo? Well, he had a massive coronary in May, 2006. He went without oxygen for quite awhile. He is home now, brain damaged, but doing quite well, actually, for the injury he sustained. Sad thing is, his son and daughter-in-law live three minutes away and cannot be bothered with even wanting to know how he is. It's been five months. When they thought he was dying, they were right there! Now I will admit, that when there is a life-changing event, such as losing your spouse to a horrible injury as this, it can throw you into a "oblivion wanting" inebriation. I went through this for a couple of months. I just wanted to forget. I just wanted to escape. So I drank. Well, that is over. And I will admit that I was not innocent in the "family" losing contact. But still, IT'S YOUR DAD. Please...be bigger than that. I am just horrified at the son and daughter who "CARE SO MUCH" about their father. Nothing could be funnier!!!!! |

*June 10, 2004* I got a Power Point Presentation by email at work that blew my mind. First thing I did was learn code to write a moving slideshow. It is "Cloning Gone Wild." Somebody put serious thought and work into morphing together unlikely and odd combinations of animals. I was enchanted by some and actually frightened by others. I was left wondering if science could actually be genetically messing around like this. I have to say that my favorite is number 2, the little "kittymoth." Oh, I named the animals, so if they become species, they will be my "namesakes!" Also, those whimsical dragons, Dewey and Dagmar, are at it again. Check out their new moving slideshow with new additions. |

For one of the most hilarious clips to come along in a while, treat yourself to "Trombone." If you haven't seen it click here! Have you ever seen that Honda commercial that took over 5 years to make? I've watched it several times and am still blown away by it. Must have sound ON for total amazing effect. Click here. |

| The book I've been working on is coming along well, this journey into anorexia. I've been working really hard on it and I think it's shaping up nicely. Sometimes, though, I have to put it away, because it's too close to me and I start start thinking about it, wanting it, wanting to compete and be as "good" as I was then. It's quite a psychological trip. Well, all that worrying about the message board being complicated was for nothing. I've got it together, but it won't be open for a couple of weeks! Besides being a place where anything can be talked about, I'd love to communicate with other anorexics, and have a place where we are free to self-expression and sharing realities without having to explain anything to anyone on the "other side." Those seeking to gain understanding or just to talk without feeling the need to "cure" or lecture, would be welcome. On the lighter side, I've seen some pretty cool games on forums, like online scavenger hunts, words games. It can be a blast, especially with a good group. | |||

Part of expansion, is a new section, essentially called "Photo Collection." Part of this collection is this great series of cats wearing hats. To the right is just one portrait in the series of five. This is raggedy ann kitty. Click for "Cats in Hats," cats undercover. Besides kitty raggedy ann here, there's kitty kermit, kitty lamb, kitty chick and kitty bunny. They are priceless. How these cats so willingly wear these hats, I don't know! But they're sure to gain serious laughter. *I would like to add here that these photos are copyrighted by somebody else and they are not my photos.* A British television show contacted me because they wanted to showcase the cats, but because they aren't mine, I couldn't okay it. Also, in the photo collection cute animals.
