The Art Gallery. This part of sanctuary will be growing the minute I have enough time to devote more than just a few minutes here and there. The Art Gallery started, actually in honor of a series of pictures of really cute whimsical green dragons. I'll bet just about everyone has seen these little guys at one time or another on the fantasy artwork/dragon sites. I found the first one a few years ago and set out upon a quest to find as many as I could. The dragons are Dagmar and Dewey. The artist is Randall Spangler. He has hundreds of pieces for sale, and I wish I could just buy as many (ALL) as I wanted. I guess he chose a few of them to be gratis for people like me, and I'm very grateful. The very first dragon I stumbled across is the first of the slide show, the cat in a bookcase peeking out at a little dragon sleeping on his toy mouse. All of them are absolutely charming. It's really funny that I've had them for years and have just now noticed something on one of them that I never saw before. It's the one on the bathroom scale, and it's the dragon behind the one on the scale--I never really noticed what he was doing. It's a hoot!

The little dragon above is one of the set that I could never find a large version of. It looks like this little guy had a rough night.
